Suspicious Package Found In Downtown Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Bomb Squad investigated a suspicious package that was found downtown Friday morning.
The package was found on Forbes Avenue between the City-County Building and the Allegheny County Courthouse.
It was found in a Port Authority bus stop waiting area around 6 a.m.
As it turns out, the package was only a suitcase filled with clothes.
Three blocks were closed while the Bomb Squad conducted their investigation, which caused traffic delays.
The area has been reopened and traffic is flowing through the area, but some delays can still be expected.
