Suspects Sought In Westmoreland Co. ATM Theft
MOUNT PLEASANT TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - State police in Westmoreland County are searching for suspects after an ATM machine was stolen from a restaurant.
The burglary happened just after 3 a.m. Tuesday at Brady's Restaurant on Mount Pleasant Township.
According to state police, it is not known how much money was in the Somerset Trust ATM machine when it was taken.
Investigators say the suspect or suspects they are looking for in the incident parked a vehicle in front of the restaurant, and then smashed the glass on the front door to get inside.
The ATM machine was dragged through the front entrance and loaded onto the vehicle, officials said. The person or people involved managed to get away without being identified.
