Suspects Sought After McCandless Bank Robbed At Gunpoint
McCANDLESS (KDKA) – Saturday's snow couldn't stop two men from robbing a bank Saturday morning.
McCandless police are looking for two men who robbed the Huntington Bank on McKnight Road at gunpoint just before 10 a.m.
Police say both suspects were wearing ski masks and carrying guns. One of the suspects even jumped over the counter and emptied the teller drawers.
No one was hurt, but they did get away with money. No shots were fired either.
After scooping up the cash, the suspects quickly left through the bank door, jumped in a car and drove south on McKnight Road.
One suspect is described as a white male, wearing a tan hoodie. The other is described as a black male wearing a blue sweater.
Police also say they were seen leaving in a white car with license plate No. JKS 9877.
Anyone with information is asked to call the local FBI office and tipsters can remain anonymous.
