Suspect Sought In Mercer Co. Bank Robbery
HERMITAGE (KDKA) -- Police in Mercer County are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery this afternoon in Hermitage.
The robbery happened around noon at the PNC Bank in the 1000-block of Hermitage Road.
According to investigators, the suspect walked into the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money.
Authorities say the suspect fled the bank with an unknown amount of money. He did not show a gun and the direction he went in is unknown.
He is described as a white male between 45- to 50-years-old, standing at five-foot-nine and wearing glasses.
He was last seen wearing a greenish-blue checkered coat with a hood and light-blue jeans and a brown, wool-type hat with a brim.
