Suspect Sought In Armed Gas Station Robbery
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police are searching for a man who held up a gas station at gunpoint.
The robbery happened at about 4:20 a.m. at the Sunoco in the 300-block of Stanhope Street in Pittsburgh's Esplen neighborhood last Monday.
Pittsburgh police say the robber brought some items to the counter before pulling out a black semiautomatic handgun at the clerk and demanding money.
The suspect punched the clerk before leaving the store.
The suspect is described as a black male between ages 23 and 25, standing six-feet tall. He wore a hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt, jeans and white sneakers.
