2 Suspects Sought After McKeesport Shooting
MCKEESPORT (KDKA) -- Police are looking for a man who fired shots at police in McKeesport.
The situation started when police responded to a burglary call at a house at 3310 Stewart Street.
When police arrived, officers found much more. Police say as they approached the home, a woman who lives at the house ran out the door.
As she did, police say a black male inside the house fired a shot, hitting the woman in the forearm.
Police officers returned fire at the suspect. The woman ran to a neighbor's house bleeding.
Police called for backup and while they were doing that, the suspects made a run for it.
Police say they tracked the suspects for about four and a half blocks with dogs before losing the trail.
They spent the rest of the afternoon searching the scene for evidence.
The suspects were described as black males wearing dew rags.
