Super Bowl XLV Special For Former Packers
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Jerry Kramer, a former right guard for the Green Bay Packers, joined the FAN Morning Show to talk about the team's success.
Kramer said this Super Bowl is special because the Packers beat the Chicago Bears on the road, and now they are playing in Jerry Jones' new stadium.
Kramer, who played in the first Super Bowl at Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, recalls his experience heading into that game. He remembers the buzz was that the media had to take two buses to get to the game.
Kramer played right guard from 1958 to 1968.
As for the Steelers, he thinks the injury to center Maurkice Pouncey will be a "disconnect" for the offensive line. He said the offensive line runs like a "fine watch," but it is something they can overcome.
