Street: "I Felt Like I Helped Myself At The Combine"
PITTSBURGH (KDKA 93-7 The Fan)- The NFL Scouting Combine wrapped up last week, and one of the participants was former Pitt receiver Devin Street.
Street told Bob Pompeani that he can't control where he's drafted, but he's hearing it will likely be in the middle rounds.
"All I can do is kind of control what I can control," Street said. "I felt like I helped myself at the combine. It was a great experience, but looking at the mid-rounds. Like I said, wherever I go that's wherever I go. Everything happens for a reason and, you know, I'm going to make the most of my opportunity."
Street told Pompeani that it was rough to play for three different head coaches during his time at Pitt, but it should help him to adjust to the NFL.
"It was definitely tough, but at the same time, I learned a lot from it," Street said. "I was able to pick up offenses quickly, learn the playbooks fast, just be able to handle different attitudes, different coaching styles and I definitely think it's going to help me leading up to the NFL."
