Step Out helps to raise funds that support research and promote awareness about the seriousness of diabetes in the local community. In America, 25.8 million people live with diabetes over 300,000 in Western Pennsylvania. It's estimated that one out of every 3 children born in the US after 2000 will be affected by diabetes.
