Steelers RB Redman: "If [Tomlin] Calls My Number, I'm Gonna Be Prepared"
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Steelers' running back Isaac Redman joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sports Radio 93-7 The FAN to talk about the Steelers running back situation, and who is going to be the starter moving forward.
Redman said they're a little banged up at running back right now, but they have three guys capable of being a number one back, and they've each stepped up when their number has been called.
When asked who the starting running back should be, Redman said that's not up to him, and that "Coach Tomlin said he's gonna go with the hot hand."
We also talked with Redman about the rest of the offense, particularly receiver Mike Wallace. Redman told us that Wallace has been pressing the coaches to get him the ball, and he made the most of the opportunity when he was given it this past week.
With the Steelers getting set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs this Monday night, Redman told us about how important the game is for Todd Haley and the fiery speech he gave the team this morning about wanting to get this win over his former team.
