Steelers-Ravens Rank Best Ratings Since '96
PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) - Clearly the Steelers Nation tuned in en masse to watch Saturday's much anticipated win over the Ravens.
The game drew the highest preliminary TV ratings for a divisional playoff game in 15 years.
The Steelers' 31-24 win on Saturday earned CBS a 20.9 overnight rating and 39 share.
Ratings represent the percentage of all homes with televisions tuned into a program. Shares represent the percentage of all homes with TVs in use at the time. Overnight ratings measure the country's largest markets.
According to CBS that is the best rating for a divisional game since 1996 when the Green Bay Packers beat the San Francisco 49ers 35-14.
