Steelers Nowhere Near Top Spot In 'Best Fans' Poll
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Two Emory University professors recently conducted a study to determine which NFL team, "has the most avid, engaged, passionate and supportive fans," and the Pittsburgh Steelers did not fare particularly well.
The duo focused on fan engagement not only when a team is winning, but during tough times, as well.
Fifteen years of information including, but not limited to, market populations and median incomes, were scanned by the professors, in addition to teams' year-by-year performance, ticket prices, and multiple other factors.
