Steelers' Intensity Depicted In NFL Films Reel
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Steelers highlight reel made its debut Friday.
The star of this year's film is the intensity found on the sidelines during every game. The theme is "Heart."
"I mean, you see a play unfold during the season, but you don't get to hear Coach Tomlin's reaction to it. You don't get to hear what Brett Keisel says on the sideline. You don't get to hear Ben Roethlisberger in the huddle, but here you do," NFL Films producer and Pittsburgh native John Weiss said.
After culling through 50 to 100 hours of film, the entire season was capsulized in 24 minutes with no way to change a disappointing season.
But the public will get to see the team up close and personal.
"I think the personalities in this year in particular I think this film really did capture some of the personalities that are involved with the team, so I think it will be fun to see how people react to it," Steelers President Art Rooney II said.
The video will be appearing on NFL Network prior to its release for sale in early July.
