Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette Talks Plaxico Burress
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Pittsburgh Steelers Beat Writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Ed Bouchette joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to give his thoughts on a possible return to the Steelers for former Wide Receiver Plaxico Burress.
Burress will be getting released from prison this month and Ed said the Steelers wouldn't be the only team pursuing the former star. For the right deal, he could see a scenario where they bring him back.
According to Ed, another former imprisoned star caught the eye of the Steelers when he was released from jail. Before the Philadelphia Eagles signed him, Mike Vick was reportedly someone Head Coach Mike Tomlin was interested in the team pursuing as a backup to starter Ben Roethlisberger.
