Steelers' Hoke Talks About Improved Run Defense
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Pittsburgh Steelers' nose tackle Chris Hoke, fresh off a thrashing of the Tennessee Titans, joined The Fan Morning Show on 93.7 The Fan to talk about the improvement in the run defense, players filling the void for the injured, and keys on shutting down the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Hoke was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2001.
After taking over the starting nose tackle position against the Titans for the injured Casey Hampton, Hoke totaled two tackles for loss and controlled the middle of the field as the Steelers held the Titans' Chris Johnson to just 51 yards on the afternoon.
