Steelers Fans Brace For Snowy Commute To Buffalo
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- We have all seen what winter snow in Buffalo can be like. Come Sunday afternoon, the flakes will be flying alongside the footballs.
"It's going to be exciting, it's another element to make it exciting go out there and play in the snow," said Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey.
The wind could make following a pass interesting.
"When the ball is in the air in 20 mile per hour wind and you have to follow it, it's still going to a spot but you have to adjust and catch it," said receiver Eli Rogers.
"I think it's fun, you know guys don't like playing in the cold but I do, so I look at it as an advantage for me," said running back Le'Veon Bell.
But being on the field is a different game than in the stands.

"It's very cold, the bleachers are cold and metal and it's pretty windy up there," said fan Nick Lewandowski.
He's been there, done that in Buffalo the last time the Steelers were there. So this time he's sitting out.
But there are a lot of seats to be had and Steelers fans travel well. The only question is when to travel since Buffalo is still getting clobbered by lake effect snow.
"I'm actually leaving tomorrow morning to beat the bad weather and get a hotel close to the stadium," said Louis Echevarria.
"The best window of travel is going to be really anytime tomorrow from mid-morning on through the afternoon and early evening," said KDKA's Jeff Verszyla.
By then the lake effect snow will be over and the second storm system still to the west.
"Driving up Sunday morning and staying all day and night as well," Sean Emerson said.
Traveling Sunday morning you're going to encounter some light snow but the key word there is light.
