Steelers' Emmanuel Sanders Focused On Getting Healthy
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Every Tuesday morning, Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders joins the Fan Morning Show to talk all things black and gold.
Sanders is currently nursing a foot injury. He says that he will not risk playing if it will aggravate his injury because the team has already locked up a playoff spot.
He says that he has "got the mind-frame of being 100 percent." But he gives an 80 percent chance that he will play on Monday night.
Ben Roethlisberger and Maurkice Pouncey are both dealing with high-ankle sprains, but Sanders "definitely expect[s] them to be out there" on Monday night when the Steelers take on the San Francisco 49ers.
We also get his thoughts on James Harrison's controversial hit on Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy, Monday Night Football, and playing on the West Coast.
