Steelers, Bengals Help Panthers' Secure No. 1 Draft Pick
PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) — The Carolina Panthers' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday proved they have the worst offense in the NFL this season.
Thanks to the Steelers' beat down and winning performances from Cincinnati and Denver, the Panthers won the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2011.
The Broncos and Bengals currently have a record of 4-11 and the Panthers (2-12) can not catch them even if they win on Sunday.
The league's worst offense is in line to potentially take Stanford star quarterback Andrew Luck.
The Panthers will now wait to see if Luck decides to leave school early. Numerous draft analysts have called the 6-foot-4 Luck the best prospect in the potential daft pool.
