State Trooper Injured In I-79 Crash
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A state trooper was injured after crashing his motorcycle along Interstate 79 Sunday afternoon.
It happened along northbound I-79 in Franklin Park Borough around 1:30 p.m.
State Police say 41-year-old Donna Trushel collided with the officer after making an "unsafe" lane change.
The officer was thrown from his vehicle and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No word on the officer's identity.
