Squirrel Hill Bank Robbery Suspect Caught
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Squirrel Hill this week has been arrested.
According to police, the robbery happened at the First Niagara Bank in the 2000-block of Murray Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect walked up to a teller and passed a note which read, "Give me the money."
The teller complied and handed over an unknown amount of money and the suspect fled the scene.
The suspect has since been identified as 38-year-old James Miller.
On Friday, the United States Marshalls Fugitive Task Force arrested Miller in Duquesne.
Details of the arrest were not available, but Miller will be transported to the Allegheny County Jail and will be charged with two counts of robbery.
