Sports Illustrated Legal Analyst Michael McCann Talks Jerry Sandusky Verdict
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- SI Legal Analyst Michael McCann joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about the trial of Jerry Sandusky, and where things go from here after the guilty verdict that came down this weekend.
McCann said the actions of the jurors re-hearing testimony and doing their due diligence rather than just immediately pronouncing Sandusky guilty showed how thoughtful and careful they were to get the verdict right.
He told us the difficult situation Penn State University will be in moving forward because of the civil suits it will face, and having to make their arguments against the victims of Sandusky.
There are a few questions that still need answered, and McCann said one of the biggest questions still looming is who knew what, and what did they do to try to put a stop to Sandusky.
We wrapped things up with McCann by asking him what the victims could seek in the civil cases they file against Penn State.
