Some Parents Upset By Super Bowl Slips
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020) - Sunday night America watched on as the Baltimore Ravens won in the Superbowl, over the San Francisco 49ers.
Many viewers were tuned in strictly for the halftime show and the commercials.
But what some parents weren't expecting was some possibly "risque" images. There was even a slip of two expletives airing on the CBS television program, to the upset many people.
The Parents Television Council has had enough "slip ups" in such a widely watched broadcast, that they're now pushing the Federal Communications Commission for changes.
KDKA's Mike Pintek spoke with Dan Isett, the Director of Public Policy for the PTC about what they were specifically upset about. Isett said the FCC has a legal obligation to enforce the law and move to legal action for the incident. Otherwise, he said these accidents will continue to happen.
