Snow To Move Out, Warmer Weather On The Way
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Bursts of lake effect snow have been troublesome across the area over the past 24 hours.
According to KDKA-TV Meteorologist Dennis Bowman, Sunday's snow total was 3.4 inches and we have added 2.4 inches to that since midnight for a total of 5.8 inches in Pittsburgh.
This brings our season snow total up to 36.7 inches, which is 2.2 inches above normal for this point of the season.
Snow should shut down by late Monday morning, which will leave a mostly cloudy day with breezy and brisk conditions.
Northwest winds will gust up to 25 mph and will make our high of 33 degrees feel like the low 20s this afternoon. Tonight, skies clear out and it will be very cold with a low of 18 degrees.
However, warmer temperatures are on the way.
There will be mostly sunny skies on Tuesday with a high of 49 degrees and even more sunshine on Wednesday with a high of 62.
