Snow Leads To Traffic Nightmare In Many Areas
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Continuous snow all morning led to slick roads and dozens of fender benders throughout the city Sunday.
Emergency dispatchers notice an uptick in accidents in the morning and afternoon.
A tractor trailer stopped traffic on Interstate 79, near 279 Sunday afternoon, when it crashed. No injuries were reported, but the crash did cause many delays.
Roads Sunday night were still backed up in many areas.
Lots of city residents said that they hadn't seen a plow or salt truck all day.
