Ski Slopes Open Today At Boyce Park
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The winter season has officially begun at Boyce Park as slopes are opening today for skiers and snowboarders alike.
According to the Allegheny County Parks Department, ski slopes will open this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. However, the snow tubing section will be closed until snow conditions improve.
Weather and conditions permitting, slopes will run on weekdays from 3:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. On weekends and holidays, slopes will be open for two sessions: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 5: p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The Boyce Park Ski Area offers rental equipment for skiers and snowboarders, as well as private and group lessons for beginners.
