Sidney Crosby's Agent Talks Possible No. 68 Return To The 'Burgh

PITTSBURGH (Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN) -- Sidney Crosby's agent Dee Rizzo joined Seibel, Starkey, and Miller on 93-7 The FAN to talk about hockey and the possible return of No. 68, Jagr, to the city of Pittsburgh.

Dee Rizzo shared his insight on Jagr's potential return to the NHL saying he has shown interest and the two teams in the conversation are the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins who are both big contenders in the Stanley Cup this upcoming year.  He said Jagr may not fit particularly well with the Pens, but there have been conversations exploring different options.

When asked what may be motivating Jagr's return to the NHL, as he would more than likely receive less money than in the KHL, Rizzo said it may simply be for a better exit from the NHL and perhaps with a Stanley Cup championship to go out on top.

When Sidney Crosby is brought up, Rizzo said he has been working out and completing his summer regimen, but he is still not cleared to be the Sidney Crosby we all know him to be as in terms of his high-level, high-intensity training.  Rizzo has known Crosby since Sid was 13 and said he has not suffered any concussions in his younger years.  One of the main concerns is what will happen when Crosby is cleared for contact and whether or not another blindside hit will affect him the way this past concussion has.

Rizzo continues the conversation of concussions saying there is a definite problem in the NHL that needs to be dealt with considering the knowledge we now have on how severe an injury this can be especially when athletes try to return to soon.

Dee ends the conversation talking about skating with Malkin and how well he has recovered, saying he is bigger, better, faster, and more determined than ever at this time.
