Shoppers Tour Whole Foods In Wexford
WEXFORD (KDKA) — The new Whole Foods Market opens in Wexford on Wednesday, but KDKA-TV got a sneak peak Monday.
One of the things that make it different from the Shadyside-East Liberty store is it will have a pub with coffee, beer, wine and hard cider.
Whole Foods will have local beers in the pub.
Something else different from the city location is a wood-burning pizza oven that will allow them to make authentic Roman pizza.
The Wexford location will also have cooking demonstrations in a special section of the store.
In the produce section, they pride themselves on having locally-produced products and they make a note of what is organic.
More than 600 people visited the store for a tour of the space which is a little smaller than the store in the city.
People who took the tour say they look forward to a shorter drive
