Hill District Shooting Leaves 1 Injured
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- One person was injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in the Hill District.
911 Dispatch says, it happened around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Centre Avenue and Herron Avenue in the Terrace Village area.
Police say when they arrived at the 2600 block of Centre Avenue, they found a 27-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the foot.
A foot chase ensued, and police say they detained a man who matched the description of the shooter.
According to police, the victim is now in the local hospital in stable condition.
