Two Stabbed, One Cut During Fight At Shadyside Bar
SHADYSIDE (KDKA) -- Two men were stabbed and another was cut during a fight at a Shadyside bar early Saturday morning.
It happened around 1 a.m. at the Shadyside Hideaway, formerly known as the Highlander Pub, in the 200-block of South Highland Avenue.
Police spokeswoman Sonya Toler says that there was a fight on a patio outside the bar's front entrance. One victim, a 34-year-old man, stumbled into the bar while two other men fled in a silver vehicle.
When officers arrived at the bar, they found the 34-year-old man, who was bleeding from his neck and stomach. He was sent to a local hospital in critical condition. He has since been upgraded to stable condition.
Toler says about 15 minutes later, officers and paramedics were sent to a home in the 1300-block of Chaney Court in Lincoln-Lemington. At the home, they found a man who had been stabbed in the stomach and another man who had a cut on his arm.
According to Toler, both men had been at the bar. The man who had been stabbed in the stomach was sent to a local hospital in critical condition, but he has since been upgraded to stable condition. The man who was cut on the arm was also sent to a hospital in stable condition.
No charges have been filed at this point.
