Seeing Red: Motorist Associaton Opposes Red Light Cameras
PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) -- Not everyone is pleased with State Rep. Paul Costa's, D-Allegheny, plan to install red light cameras in Pittsburgh.
KDKA Radio's Mike Pintek talks with Gary Biller, executive director of the National Motorists Association, about why he believes the cameras would mean bad news for Western Pennsylvania.
Pintek asks Biller how effective the cameras have been in other cities across the country, whether they might end up punishing drivers who don't actually break the law and whether the cameras are ultimately about safety or money.
Listen to Mike Pintek every weekday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA!
