Scout Profile Of Steelers' Potential Fourth-Round Draft Pick
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – Many mock drafts have the Steelers selecting a cornerback with their first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com has a scouting profile of a cornerback the team could be looking at in the fourth-round as well.
According to Larrabee, the Steelers could be interested in Oregon cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu.
The 5-foot-9-inch, 192-pound, 2014 All-American Ekpre-Olomu recorded 63 tackles, two interceptions and nine passes defended last year.
Ekpre-Olomu did not participate in the NFL Combine as he's recovering from ACL surgery. Ekpre-Olomu suffered the ACL injury back in December during Rose Bowl practices.
Given that Ekpre-Olomu is coming off ACL surgery, his draft value has dropped as he was at one point thought of as a first round talent.
There are concerns that he may not be able to play much in his rookie year.
