Scott Recalls 2,000 Speedster Bikes
Scott is recalling about 2,000 "Speedster Bicycles" because part of the steering mechanism can break, which poses a risk of falling.
The recall affects both men's and women's road "Speedster 30" bikes made in 2014.
The bikes were sold at stores across the country -- and online -- from August 2013 through May 2014.
No one has been hurt because of the problem, but the company says people who own those bikes should stop using them and contact a dealer for a free replacement part.
