Schedule Released For Pens/Flyers Playoff Series
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The NHL released the schedule for the opening round playoff matchup between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers Sunday afternoon.
The Penguins enter the playoffs as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference and as such, have earned the home ice advantage in the series against the fifth seeded Flyers.
Wednesday marks the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the Penguins will take the ice for Game 1 at 7:30 p.m.
Game 2 will be Friday night, before the series shifts to Philadelphia for Games 3 and 4 on Sunday and Wednesday.
Here is the complete schedule for the best-of-seven series:
- Game 1 – Wednesday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. at CONSOL Energy Center
- Game 2 – Friday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. at CONSOL Energy Center
- Game 3 – Sunday, April 15, at 3 p.m. at Wells Fargo Center
- Game 4 – Wednesday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Wells Fargo Center
- *Game 5 – Friday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. at CONSOL Energy Center
- *Game 6 – Sunday, April 22, at Wells fargo Center. Time TBD
- *Game 7 – Tuesday, April 24, at CONSOL Energy Center. Time TBD
