Santorum Takes Part In Opening Of Local Romney Campaign Office
GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- They were once in a bitter Primary fight, but on Saturday, former Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum was out campaigning for Mitt Romney in Westmoreland County.
Santorum, the former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania, campaigned in Greensburg.
It's the first campaign appearance that Santorum has made on behalf of his former foe.
During the stop, he launched an attack on President Obama.
"We have a president who has become drunk with power, and is using and wielding that power to be able to keep power and gain more," said Santorum. "Imagine a Barack Obama, what he is doing now in the face of an election; imagine what he does with four more years."
Santorum took part in the opening of the Romney campaign office in Greensburg.
