Sandusky's Relative Makes Abuse Allegation

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Shocking new developments in the Penn State scandal.

The KDKA investigators have learned one of the two new alleged cases that was reported Tuesday was one of Sandusky's relatives.

Sources close to the investigation tell the KDKA investigators the new alleged victim says he was sexually assaulted by Sandusky before his arrest the first week of November.

Sources indicate Sandusky has been forbidden to be around the family or the family member.

Sources also indicate the family member is described as younger than 18-years-old.

KDKA-TV will not identify the child's relationship to Sandusky in order to protect the child.

Sandusky attorney Joe Amendola confirmed the allegations to a Harrisburg newspaper.

Sources close to the investigation say this alleged incident was recently reported, but not until after Sandusky was arrested and charged November 4.

In those cases, the victims were alleged to be a young as seven or eight years old.
