Same Suspect Sought In 7-Eleven, Dollar General Robberies
WEXFORD (KDKA) -- Police say the same man is responsible for two robberies in communities north of Pittsburgh.
The most recent incident happened 10 p.m. Sunday at the 7-Eleven in Pine Township.
The suspect, described as a white male in his 20's wearing a gray plaid hoodie, pulled out a small black semi-automatic handgun during the robbery and pulled the hammer back.
He ran away from the store with money and cigarettes toward Mars Borough.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Saturday, police say the same man robbed a Dollar General in Fairview Township near Chicora, Butler County.
In each robbery, investigators say the suspect apologized and ran out of the store.
Both incidents were caught on surveillance video.
