Salvation Army Donation Kettle Stolen Outside Of Fayette Co. Grocery Store
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are looking for the person who impersonated a Salvation Army bell ringer and stole a donation kettle.
Police say it happened Saturday around 9 p.m. outside the Shop and Save in Point Marion Borough, Fayette County.
A bell ringer told police she was relieved from her shift at 7 p.m. by another woman.
The woman is described as in her late 20s, with dark hair and was wearing neon, fuzzy pants. The bell ringer also told police the woman was joined by a man who stood by and watched as they switched shifts.
Police say the woman stole the donation kettle and stand from outside the grocery store. It's unclear how much money she got away with.
