1 Person Dead After Crash On Route 51 In Rostraver
ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One person has died in a two-vehicle crash along busy Route 51 northbound in Westmoreland County.
According to emergency officials, the fatal crash happened north of Willowbrook Road in Rostraver Township just before noon.
The Westmoreland County Office of the Coroner said 86-year-old Anna Selembo died in the crash. Her cause of death was blunt force injuries due to a two-vehicle collision. It was accidental.
Officials said Selembo stopped at the intersection of Gallitin Road and Route 51 north before attempting to cross the northbound lanes.
She was then t-boned by a tri-axle dump truck.
Selembo was not wearing a seatbelt.
