Roethlisberger's Agent Discusses Restructuring Of Contract
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Ben Roethlisberger's agent, Ryan Tollner joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about Ben restructuring his contract to save the Steelers $8 million off the cap this year, and what that means for his client.
Tollner said he and Ben informed the team that they were willing to restructure his deal to help out the team, and the process from there was actually quite simple and done pretty quickly.
Despite losing his Offensive Coordinator and possibly losing his top Wide Receiver in the same off-season, Tollner said Ben isn't bothered by it in the least because he trusts the Steelers and the direction they're taking the team.
Tollner also explained to us what restructuring a deal does and when the player gets their money.
