Roethlisberger Expected To Play Sunday
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced both good and bad injury news at his press conference today.
The most positive news was that the team believes that injured quarterback Ben Roethlisberger should be able to play this Sunday vs. the Tennessee Titans.
Roethlisberger's practice time will be limited but barring a setback with his foot, should be able to start.
In other injury news, running back Rashard Mendenhall is dealing with a hamstring injury and is questionable for Sunday, defensive end Aaron Smith has a mid-foot sprain and is questionable, running back Mewelde Moore has a left ankle sprain and is unlikely to play and linebacker Jason Worilds has a quad strain and is doubtful.
There was some good news today, cornerback Bryant McFadden, guard Doug Legursky, left tackle Jonathan Scott and defensive end Brett Keisel all have a good chance of returning to the lineup.
