Rod Barajas, Josh Harrison Weigh In On Harrison's Collision With Yadier Molina
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Joe Starkey of Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN caught up with Pirates Utilityman Josh Harrison, as well as Catcher Rod Barajas to talk about Harrison's play at the plate where he ran through St. Louis Cardinals Catcher Yadier Molina.
Harrison said coming around third as he was trying to score, he remembered a similar play last year where he was between sliding and running the Catcher over, but that time he elected to slide and tore up his face and messed up his nose, so this time he decided the right move was to run Molina over.
Barajas talked about the collision from a Catcher's perspective saying it was a clean play, and will remain that way until the legaue creates a rule banning it. Barajas also discussed what got him so fired up on the bench when he could be seen on television screaming at the Cardinals players.
