Rick Santorum Looks For Win In Pa.
MARS (KDKA) -- Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum remained resolute in his pursuit of the Republican nomination in the presidential race Tuesday night, after former Governor Mitt Romney swept three primaries.
Romney won Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, DC. Santorum pledged to stay in the race.
"We're hitting the field, the clock starts tonight," he said. "We've got three weeks to go out here in Pennsylvania and win this state and after winning this state, the field looks a little different in May."
Santorum and his campaign say anything is possible.
"I understand the greatness of the people of this state and I understand how important this race here in Pennsylvania," he said. "This is called the Keystone State for a reason."
Up next is an aggressive push in Pennsylvania.
"Let's defeat a Democratic incumbent and you can help me in Pennsylvania," he said.
