Rice Unlikely To Play Vs. Steelers
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The Pittsburgh Steelers defense appears to be catching a break this Sunday vs. the Seattle Seahawks.
Liz Matthews of 710 ESPN Seattle is reporting that Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said today that wide receiver Sidney Rice "won't play Sunday unless something goes crazy here in the next day in our travel if he can just get healed."
This is a huge break for the Steelers secondary cause Rice is Seattle's top offensive weapon.
Rice is still dealing with a hip injury that caused him to miss most of the 2010 season.
The last time Rice played at Heinz Field, he caught 10 passes for 136 yards with the Minnesota Vikings.
Rice signed a 5-year, $41 million deal with Seattle in the offseason.
