Reward Offered, Witness Sought In Armstrong Co. Hit-And-Run
EAST FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- There are new developments in the hit-and-run accident that injured a Pennsylvania State Trooper in Armstrong County last week.
Investigators say PSP Sergeant Kenneth Markilinski was struck by an SUV while picking up trash on the southbound on-ramp to Route 28 from Route 422 eastbound in East Franklin Township last week.
Now an anonymous donor and the Armstrong County District Attorney have put up a $1,500 reward for information that leads to the driver in this case.
State police are also looking for the driver of a tractor-trailer who may have witnessed the accident. The semi was parked on the right shoulder near the ramp during the crash.
