Retired Pittsburgh Police K-9 'Mali' dies at age 13

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police are mourning the loss of one of their own. 

Mali, a 13-year-old retired K-9 officer died on Wednesday. 

He was a narcotics detection K9 who began his service with the unit in 2010 and retired in 2018. 

Mali lived with his handler, Officer Hurley, and his family, for the last four years.
