Reserve Twp. Hit & Run Suspect Sought
RESERVE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a man was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Reserve Township Sunday night.
According to police, a pedestrian was hit while walking along 100-block Ramage Road around 11 p.m.
The 21-year-old male victim is being treated after suffering a number of injuries including road rash and a possible concussion.
He was able to describe the vehicle as a blue or green Chevrolet Blazer before he was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.
"We have no idea right now who is the operator of that suspected vehicle. After [the suspect] struck the victim on Ramage Road the vehicle sped up and fled down Ramage Road toward [Spring Garden Avenue]. At that point, we have no directional flight after that," Reserve Township Police Chief Frederick Boory said.
The vehicle may have suffered damage to the right front headlight and bumper.
Police are currently interviewing neighbors to see if anyone saw anything.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
