Report: Steelers To Sign Cotchery
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- It appears as though the Steelers will be adding a veteran wide receiver.
ESPN is reporting that former NY Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery will sign a one-year deal with the Steelers today.
Cotchery visited with the team on Sunday and then talked with the Baltimore Ravens.
Prior to being released, Cotchery had played his entire 7 year career with the NY Jets.
This week at camp, Hines Ward talked publicly about the need to add a veteran wide receiver.
With the signing of Cotchery, the Steelers top six receivers appear to be set with Mike Wallace, Hines Ward, Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, Tyler Grisham and Cotchery.
