Report: Steelers' Harrison To Undergo Shoulder Surgery
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison will undergo shoulder surgery Monday.
According to a report on NFL.com, Harrison announced the surgery on Twitter and said he will be out four to six weeks.
It's believed that he injured his right shoulder during Pittsburgh's 31-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional playoff round.
Harrison recorded 10.5 sacks this season, but was no stranger to controversy. The NFL fined him $100,000 for illegal hits early in the year.
Despite the injury, he was able to play in Super Bowl XLV, where he had one sack and one tackle.
