Report: Ohio State Suspends Bell
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The rough off-season for Ohio State continues as Jim Tressel reportedly suspends a former WPIAL star.
Multiple reports say that Tressel has suspended former 5-star Gateway LB Dorian Bell for the entire 2011 season.
Bell was challenging for a starting role during spring practice.
According to the reports, Bell was suspended for violation of team rules. It was his third violation of the same rule. The second violation got Bell suspended for the Sugar Bowl and the '11 opener against Akron.
The redshirt sophomore played in 8 games for the Buckeyes last season.
He had a sack in the spring game, a week after recording six tackles and a sack in OSU's second full-scale scrimmage.
