Report: Jagr Sounds Like He Wants Out Of New Jersey
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Trade speculation has surrounded Jaromir Jagr since he returned to the NHL in 2011 and that hasn't changed this season.
As written on CBS New York, the 43-year-old Jagr's playing time has decreased and he's not happy about it.
In 56 games with the Devils this year, Jagr has 11 goals and 18 assists with a plus-minus rating of of minus-9. More to Jagr's point on playing time though, he's averaging just 17:43 of ice time per game.
The 17:43 of ice time is the lowest amount of ice time Jagr has seen since he first came back to the league in 2011.
Before the year, Jagr signed a one-year deal with the Devils worth $5.5 million meaning he'd be a free agent after the season should the Pens trade for him.
The NHL trade deadline is Monday, March 2 at 3 p.m.
